Pan Africa Pan Africa

Fifteen years of operating safaris throughout the African continent has given EXPLORE an exceptional opportunity to help preserve wilderness, wildlife and traditional cultures. Our travelers are increasingly interested in making a difference while exploring the wonders of earth's most beautiful, wild places, and EXPLORE is dedicated to making that possible for them. Many of our travelers have made prior trips to Africa and desire to give something in return. This is seen in the form of helping to build schools, supporting local wildlife research projects, bringing clothing and toys for street children, volunteering at local orphanages or township projects, and countless other acts of generosity.

Wildlife Conservation Society
Today, WCS's Africa program is the largest and most effective field conservation program on the continent, active in 20 countries from Gabon to Kenya and Sudan to South Africa and employing more than 900 dedicated individuals. Beyond the sheer size of its Africa program, WCS is proud of its commitment to work in the field regardless of hardship, to base conservation action on firm scientific understanding, to partner with local people, national governments, and other NGOs, and to find and implement solutions to Africa's greatest conservation challenges.

First Peoples Worldwide
First Peoples Worldwide is the only indigenous led development organization working locally and globally for indigenous cultures and communities to prosper. Through the "Keepers of the Earth Fund" small grants are made and networks of indigenous community practitioners, project managers, organizers, leaders, activists, teachers, mappers, are linked and local capacity is multiplied. Research and Advocacy links the grassroots voices from Indigenous communities directly to the global formulation of programs and policy that affect indigenous lives.
